The Araku hills around Valley View Resort

About

About
a house in the hills.

Valley View is a mountain retreat in Sunkarametta, Araku Valley — set among the Eastern Ghats, with panoramic views and a pace shaped by the land.

Our story

Built to keep the valley close.

We opened Valley View for guests who wanted the Eastern Ghats without the hurry — rooms that look into coffee and mountain light, a table in the open air, and evenings that end around a fire. The architecture stays low; the landscape does the talking.

Sitting approximately 1,100 metres above mean sea level in Sunkarametta, the house holds thirty-six rooms on 2.36 acres, a hill-station kitchen, a banquet hall, and an amphitheatre under the sky. Everything is paced to Araku: slow mornings, long light, and staff who know the trails by name.
